We may not be able to choose our circumstances,
but we always can choose our actions.

The ebb and flow of life is multidirectional,
moving from thought to action to reaction,
one connecting to the next.

What we deem as important today may lose momentum,
only to be replaced by another tomorrow,
but certain things remain the same —
the very things that are important to us which connect with spirit.

To lose sight of such importance is equivalent to being cast off at sea without a landmark in sight,
drifting aimlessly, allowing the current to take us wherever it may please.

By staying focused on what truly matters, we breathe life into our existence, fueling fulfillment in our hearts.

No matter what may come,
as long as we can focus on what matters most,
we can overcome adversity even in the darkest of hours.

There is always a rush to do more, be more,
but, when in doubt,

PAUSE,

for it will reveal the next steps to our journey.
